Hand Made Cigars | Cigars | Premium Cigars

Welcome to Hand Made Cigars.com

The hand made cigar is bunched, rolled and trimmed completely by hand labor. It can be one person working alone on a single cigar, or the work can be divided between a buncher and a roller working on the same cigar. The main criterion is that from start to finish, the entire cigar is completely made by hand.

Hand made cigars are made with pure tobacco. Filler in a machine made cigar is not. It may contain preservatives, paper, and other chemicals. A hand made cigar incorporates the filler, the binder and the outer wrapper, all 100% tobacco. In a handmade cigar, most of the tobacco is imported from other countries, such as Honduras. Such tobacco has quality flavor than what is used in machine made cigars.

Hand made cigars are perceived as expensive cigars, but not all of them are. Although hand rolled cigars are more expensive than machine made cigars, there are plenty of inexpensive hand rolled cigars. There are many premium cigar makers that offer low price cigars that taste terrific.

How do you choose which cigar is best for you? The easiest way to decide what you like, is to become familiar with various types and sizes of cigars. Then you can determine what cigar is best for your own special smoking occasions.

Machine Bunched/Handrolled Cigars - This technique is often simply referred to as machine bunched. The filler is bunched by a machine and then the filler/binder combination is turned over to a cigar roller, who puts the wrapper on by hand.

Handmade Cigars - The whole cigar is bunched, rolled and trimmed by individual hand labor. The work can be divided between a buncher and a roller working on the same cigar or it can be one person working alone on one single cigar.  The important part, is that the entire cigar is completely made by hand from start to finish.

Machine-made Cigars - The filler, binder and wrapper are completely assembled by a machine.
